ITALIAN LANGUAGE in Naples 2025

Learn Italian Language in Naples! Enhance your travel enjoyment and make new friends.
Note that all of our instructors are certified instructors, most are native Italian speakers.
Our language courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages, recognizing three competence levels (A, B, C), each subdivided into two, for a total of six levels. We teach one level per year.
For example, A1 (1.1), (1.2), (1.3) followed by a review, 1R. Each class uses a textbook in addition to instructor selections. Conversation will become gradually more complex, and grammar will progress logically. Sessions consist of one 90-minute class per week for six weeks.
Fee: $75 for ICS Members and $85 for non-members unless otherwise noted. No refunds after the first week of class.

Intermediate B1 (Level 1.2) in person with Dr. Grace Mannino Thursday 4:30-6:00 pm beginning January 9th at Community School of Naples 13275 Livingston Road, Naples, Room O-11.All discussion in Italian. Students will study grammar and discuss current events and Italian culture. For each class students will present a Word of the Day and a brief cultural headline. Italian Literature: Plays - Opere di teatro: commedie, tragedie, drammi. Already speak Italian? Read and hold stimulating discussions of literary works to keep your Italian fluent! Studying Italian? Advanced level conversation course with weekly assigned homework. Understands the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization. Able to interact with fluency and spontaneity that make a natural interaction possible with native speakers. Can argue the pros and cons of the various options.
